Update on "Project Specs Big PITA Move to Kansas"  ;D Well the engine gave it up a ways north of Kansas City. I'm busy as hell-Monday morning  bs1- so I'm screwed rescuing him till late afternoon but fast,being the truly good samaritan that he is,drove up to rescue spec/wife/trailer and are on the way here. they should makeit to Independence where they rented a room for the three of the. I hope Sylvia-fast's wife- doesn't get any wild ideas . Glen being the wild man that he is   and all . ;D ;D ;D ;D Anyway they will drive the 15 miles on in to my place in the morning. spec and I will then be onthe road to rescue the '71. I have to say fast is a really great guy and I'm really glad to see him able to lenda hand. Spec,you KNOW it's gonna cost ya some jerky now !!!!!! Fast really like it and the pickles!!!!! ;) ;) ;)
 Now on a more serious note,I have to say it restores some of my faith in my fellow man when I see this type of situation occur and see it being  handled as it is. Thank God or whoever you wish to acknowledge for instilling good in our hearts.

Crap. I spelled more things wrong than i WANTED TO COERRECT  in that last post ans this isn't much better. LMAO I have a ruptured C7/T1 disc and bulges on 2 others. The LS trip did me no good at all. Been putting off surgery for 5 or more years . Time has come. Efen the hydrocodone isn't doing shit for me but making me very fat fingered. The fooking drive tomorrows gonna be fun. eyes

Ya,the shot that DS and I took did it. I felt it and knew it wasn't going to be good. I'm the type that will get hurt and not show the effects for several days. If I bruise myself it doesn't show for a week or more. If I bang upadamaged disc ,well,you know what i'm getting at. I'm at full tilt hurt right now.

Ok all you yahoo's.  I got Spec and his wifey safely here to Independence Kansas.  Made sure that the pickles are safe and jerky is secure.  Will finish out the trip to Coffeyville in the morning.   Got checked into the motel.  And Nooooooooooo I have my own room and the Spec's can celebrate there coming to Kansas by them self's.   :o :o ;D.  Need to retire now Spec said that he likes to get up early.  Hope that means some time after noon.  ???  Later.

Well we are FINALLY almost to where the trailer of goodies and a truckload of pickles are going to call home...
We'd still be sitting in a parking lot in Bethany, Mo.
I want to give the really awesome people of the SHAMROCK GAS STATION and THE WHISTLE STOP CAFE
A HUGE PROPS AND THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...They helped me out...Put up with my antics for 7 hours...let me keep my truck there for a few days and let me plug in the freezer so the meats don't get rotten ...
Update on the old girl...Thinking I smoked the 327...Prolly a cracked head, and over revved and overheated...
It's was a long 2 days...and prolly gonna be a longer week
I want to give Rpeirce a shout out thanks for the offer ;D
I really appreciate it...
I gotta say...Fast is one cool dude...I have a whole new respect for deisel trucks as well...But running on an average of 2 hours of sleep for the last 2 weeks has caught up with me..Hoping I can get a couple of hours of sleep tonight... But 1st.....

OK So we're wound up the 71 has quit smoking...Now I'm bored....But wait...I have my super small fishin' boat my musky pole...and theSHAMROCK has a LAGOON...
I read about them...herd about them...But never saw one in person...
I'm like a little kid when it comes to new stuff...SOOOOOO we went fishin' kinda
