63 made me think (rare I know) and I looked it up to see when and California had PCV valves took to them in 1961 and nationally in 1962.

I dunno I hope yah figure it out. 

The symptoms sure sound like it but you know your ride better than anyone. If it aint got them it aint!

Something else...
I was tooling between 70 and 75 mph for 300 miles...I pulled out to pass in Demoines and it couphed hard a couple of times and lost all power...almost like the timing chain slipped a tooth...But I turned the distributer in walmart parking lot...
Ya know what is really adding FOOKING INSULT TO INJURY
Having to give walmart money for a tire and a shitty tool set...AND I HATE FOOKING WALMART...But where else you gonna get a tire on a sunday morning in BFE

If its got one they are cheap (you knew that) but even better yet Walmart might have one!

If you discover its got one and have not changed it in forever I would toss a new one in for the cost.

WE were pulling out of a gas station...
A mexican gentleman pulls up along side of my poor sputtering peice of shit 71...Yells out the window to barb Are all those jars pickles?
