See, we go run for a few hours, then rest with the herd just for the visual stimulation.  Eat and repeat.

Well, figured out the warning light issue.  Started in this thread....  http://dtsfab.com/index/index.php?topic=3011.0

Instead of hanging another thing off the steering column, mounted standard warning lights as high as I could on the dash.  On the passenger side as I can see them unobstructed that away (On the driver side my hand on the steering wheel blocks that area. )  Will also have the passenger check the lights / gauges now and again.  Should all be good.

Still have to figure out the gauge cluster.  Leaning toward an intellidash.

Have to think about it some more.   Will likely be a while on that.  At least a few months.

BTW, I found this for all the non herd folks - sometimes the herd is a whole lot of fun.  Picture we took at Halloween of last year.

Well, tomorrow is the big "reveal" - By this time tomorrow night my spending money thread should be pretty well wrapped up.  I should have the panels late afternoon which means I will spend tomorrow evening putting it all back together.  Will still have to polish rear rims before the season, and planing a few other things, but the car will be pretty much done for the time being.  Few gauges, maybe an LED light bar, full hood, stuff that will have to wait a bit for more money, etc.  Just depends on when the mood strikes.

Saturday I am going on a night ride with a few folks in the dunes.  After the night ride i will be pulling the transaxle to have it rebuilt so I know what is in there and how fresh it all is.

I am excited to see what the final paint, etc will look like.  I know he does good work, so no worries there....  Just looking forward to it all.

And, totally unrelated to buggies - my fenders, etc came in to Southern CA for my 70.  Now to get them to Phoenix, get them painted and back to CA for assembly.

Panels are back and on.  Wires run.  HID hooked up.  Snapped a few pictures then put it up - hard to see the detail at night.  Will get some more pictures tomorrow on the night ride.   I am pleased with it.

"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907
