believe whatever you wish.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Show me truth, facts or science that shows you're as safe in an accident in a small car/large truck collision in the context of the pic as you are in a bigger full size truck/large truck collision and I'll concede boost is right.

Last I checked, dead is dead.  Half flat or totally flat doesn't matter, it's going to be a closed casket...

Your point is moot just as much as mine is. I do not agree that I'd be dead in that accident. It is obvious that it was a fairly low speed accident. I've seen many truck collisions and not one of them had undisturbed loads . Look at the tarped loads. They haven't even shifted. If 2 large trucks collide like that usually the loads are spilled or at least shifted. Not a drop has been lost.  That "dumb" car squashed like a tin can. Show me a pic of a 4 door dually mashed like that after any collision of that type.

BTW I DID show a pic of a small car mashed like an accordian. Your turn to post a pic of a dually in the same condition from an accident at the same speed as that one had to have occurred at.

Like an old mining saying about falling rocks: Look out for the little rocks they'll really hurt you.... (it's left unsaid that the big rocks don't hurt a bit ;))

For me to look up what a "duallie" is first I'd have to know what one is? make, model, year?

http://www.internetautoguide.com/crash-tests/09-int/2007/chevrolet/silverado/index.html

conservation of momentum. four star crash rating. dead id dead....
If the 2007 Silverado (not the Ram) gets 4 stars from a frontal into a wall and the Smart 5 in the same, it suggests, to me at least, you will be dead as boost dared suggest.

Since you need proof and can't work it out from conservation of momentum and you have the car in question, go try it out for us and let us know how you get on?

You're trying to compare apples to oranges. This was not a frontal impact. Show me the pics to answer prove your answer to my question. You cant and you know it. Now,you were saying?

While I think Faber's post was inaccurate in that the car appears to not be a smart, there is no denying he would be safer in his truck. Wheather he would survive in it is impossible to say (if the picture is even real).

I believe the crash test ratings relate only to vehicles in thier size and weight classes.
