Smart Car or Death Trap?
« on: August 07, 2009, 09:06:41 AM »
You be the judge.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Looks like one of my empty beer cans. ;D

Doesn't look like it would have mattered much as to what you were driving, although the Smart Car was probably less painful, more instant.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.

Definite dead vs perhaps survived . I'll take possible surviving any day. I'm pretty sure my 4 door dually would have saved my ass tho.

Mate it pretty much doesn't matter what car you drive if you get caught in a pancake like that - I don't reckon an F350 would have fared much better at all.

I understand what you're saying but there's a big difference in how wadded up you'll be at ant rate. But if you think that you're just as safe in a tin can as a big vehicle well, lets play chicken. You take a tin can and I'll take my dually. Who you think is gonna win?

I guarantee you I'd have come out of that collision better in my dually than that small car did and if you wish to try and argue that point feel free. I need a laugh tonite.

Last I checked, dead is dead.  Half flat or totally flat doesn't matter, it's going to be a closed casket...
