You can't sell them to the Sand people?
What will the Aborigine's eat?
I just don't get it...
They are trying to be like our government ...kill off a wild species...so they can spend some money in the future to bring them back ::)

Same thing needs done here with the whitetail deer. Way,way overpopulated. Do a mass kill to bring the population to a reasonable level and give the meat away.

I know it almost sounds perverted, but I ate camel steaks in Mongolia last year.  Yummy.  But they were Bactrian (two-humped) camels that I discovered were on the critically endangered species list.  Oops!  Not like the dromedary camels that the british introduced in the 19th century.  They are literally in plague proportions.  Mine sites in the northern half of West Aussie regard them as the single largest road hazard to drivers.

Camels view mine sites as the single largest hazards to camels - it all works out.

Wait, Camels view "Air Strikes" as the largest hazard to camels......

PRIME Minister Kevin Rudd has been labelled a serial killer on US TV.

Erin Burnett, an anchor on American financial news channel CNBC, launched a verbal attack targeting Rudd following his government's decision to spend $A19 million to cull feral camels in the outback.

"There is a serial killer in Australia and we are going to put a picture up so we can see who it is,'' a stern-faced Burnett said during a segment on CNBC on Tuesday.

A large photo of Rudd was then shown.

"That would be the prime minister of Australia Kevin Rudd,'' Burnett said.

"OK well do you know what he is doing?

"He has launched air strikes - air strikes - against camels in the outback.''

Yes, another case of we should mind our own business. I can't wait till we launch airstrikes on feral hogs here in the US.

So what's the real story on this?
I honestly find this disturbing...they fly over and strafe them...not srtife them... a strafing fly over means you kinda center up the air craft..... Drop the hammer.....pull the trigger...doing as much damage...not caring about the wounded....
Lemme ask this...how many of us would want our knee's shot out... and left to die of exposure...certainly not me...and don't give me that crap they don't feel pain...The fookin toads...I dunno I guess some touphguy hunters will post...and I'll invite them here to hunt....there has to be a better solution,,,than this...
Oh my...RTo leave them, to rot... Wasn't there a cost effective solution.........................................Now lemme ask ya...if they were bothering the ranchers...why couldn't they come up with riding them in the dry climate...I've read they will out last a horse in the desert...and outrun it hands down in a desert type enviornment...as Camel said are tastee too...so why the waste...
Sorry guys this pisses me off :P
