So was the neck injury due to poor lap times?

I have never followed F1.

Apparently a neck injury from a bike accident back in Feb. I think.  Personally I've watched much more F1 since Schumacher left.  Racing is much more interesting when there is more then one person who wins, and the winner isn't decided before hand....damn team rules ruins a lot of racing.  :-\

I thought the reason F1 drivers suffer so much neck trauma is because their necks undergo double the strain of INDY and NASCAR drivers, what with having to go around left AND right hand corners...  ;D ;D ;D
