Austin Cline has a conflict of interest in this debate:

Austin Cline

About.com Guide to Atheism since 1998

Austin Cline has been actively involved in educating people about atheism, agnosticism, and secular humanism on the Internet for over 10 years.

Out of Mitchell Kaye and Austin Cline, Austin is also the only one to have studied religion:

"In America, Germany, and Switzerland, Austin has studied both religion and philosophy."

Also, About.com is an advice and education site which can help you in any subject you care to name, with many well-educated professionals you can directly query. It is not a "durned libruls" site or blog set to slander all religion, for example: http://christianity.about.com/

Accusations of bias are best regarded when backed up with some evidence Masterfabr.

You gotta be kidding. Are you seriously saying that he is not biased? For that matter show me ANYONE that is not biased. I sure as hell am. And so is everybody else.

Tried looking at things from the point of view of the "other side" now and then?

You might try doing the same. I do and form my own opinions from what from BOTh sides say ,then I am biased. Unlike some on here that just blindly follow the du jour thinking of the day. For example, were you against or for the Iraq action when it began? How about Afghanistan.

I strongly dislike war on any scale. If there is a genuine reason to intervene in a situation (East Timor, Tibet) then I am all for using a military force as a peace-keeping force. But actual warfare (Iraq, Afghanistan)?

No sir, I don't like it.

Was there any real reason to invade Iraq? Either time? No. And definitely not the scare-mongering bullshit that the US government came up with.

Same with Afghanistan. No real reason to invade. Have the military offensives in either case really acheived anything?

The standard of living for your average civilian in Iraq and Afghanistan are just the same as they were before, if not worse.
Has the Taliban been eradicated? No.
Has Al-Qaeda been eradicated? No.

What mission, exactly, did George Bush the second actually accomplish?
