OK. I appreciate you as a significantly intelligent person, explain how of all things, and there are many, building seven came down... you know at free fall?

Or is it still "Unamerican" to discuss such things?

Maybe because a fire burned uncontrolled for over 7 hours on the 5th floor and a good portion of the South face of the bottom of the building was destroyed from debris when the towers fell......no that can't be right....
It was bush and his evil henchmen who placed explosives in the building to bring it down....then they waited over 7 hours from when the towers fell so they could "set" off the bombs to bring down WTC7.....ahhh....why would they wait that long? Ahhh...because they are EVIL!! They wanted to wait because....well just because!  ::)
It was all bush's plan to take over the world because he was the smartest......oh, never mind.....he was the dumbest president ever....but he was smart enough to pull off 911!  :-* ::) ::) ::)

Show me a text book (that even mentions engineering) that supports your fairy tale......

belittling questions that you can't answer as "conspiracy theories" is a tad ignorant? or is that how you now define patriotism?

Trojan the Patriot act quite clearly lays out how America defines patriotism...

Unquestioning subservience to your government coupled with clandestine surveillance of all citizens regardless of criminal history and scare-mongering seem to be the way to go.

That is just plain laughable and shows that you Aussies haven't a clue as to what AMERICANS think or believe. The above statement may be what our GOVERNMENT wants but it IS NOT what the rank and file citizen believes. There IS a difference.
And once again we have a bash America theme going. I propose that WE,the Americans on this site, start bashing OZ policy.  I mean ,we have such an intimate knowlege of Oz policy I'm SURE we could straighten them out. ::) ;)

really? I see encouragement to stand up to tyranny *shrug*

or are you being personally offended by the reference to scare mongering ;D

How would it be if the Aussies took offence like you have every time you demonise what you mistakenly call socialism? but we don't, generally, coz we, generally, appreciate there is usually some wisdom in all criticism, especially when they actually have your interests at heart.

You might not remember this from school (or when you were a younger man ;D) or think it's significant, but when the miserable poms left us for dead (after we had backed them to the hilt) when the Japs were coming to own our asses, you blokes pitched in and saved our asses. We thinks that's significant and never forget shit like that ;)

So ,an article written by conspiracy theorists is proof? Laughable.

Now where is YOUR PROOF? I'll tell you this much ,from personal experience, that it takes not much of a fire to deform steel structures. My trailer fire lasted for approx 20 minutes. It melted all the aluminum off the quad including the engine. It melted approx 1/3 of the busa clean away. It DEFORMED the 4130 chassis as it heated up it had supported tubes sagging. It had the entire trailer frame deformed to the point it could barely support itself. No one needs to try to tell me that a "small fire" cannot do damage to the steel structure that would allow a collapse.

All those engineers and architects... yeah I know kooks right?

Um your trailer was not a skyscraper... there's a small difference in the way they're constructed... and coincidentally how they react to fire. don't believe me? ask an engineer ;D

Apparently there's only "ever" been 3 skyscrapers that have collapsed because of fire WTC7 was one, guess when/where the other two were.

As to the "conspiracy theory" I have no idea who did what or when or why. I'm not pretending to either. I don't believe the official explanation solely because it doesn't add up.
That I what I believe, please don't misconstrue it any other way ;)

You ,as anyone, is entitled to their beliefs. Austin Cline IS a kook tho(my opinion). I full well know that my trailer is not a skyscraper however it was over built and the steel got hot enough to SAG from the heat. The BS about the fires not being hot enough is just BS. NOT ONE(unless I missed something) of the sources you quoted had the opportunity to do ANY analysis on the building. All they have is a belief and conjecture.

Austin Cline is a different thread... please try to keep up ;D :-*

There are many structural engineers from the US and all over the world that are willing to put their reps on the line and disagree with the "official story".

Do you really need me to dig up specific analysis of the building in question for you to understand the glaring oddities in the "official story"?

So when it sagged did it immediately fall to the ground like it had zero structure left (almost instantly) or did it sag an slowly buckle over?
