Mick is a fine looking dog. 

As to the chewing.....  well, I look like I have been pruning rose bushes without gloves.  No lost shoes yet, and for the most part he chews on his toys, but I will be glad when the puppy teeth are gone. 

For as young as he is, he is getting along just fine.  He is crate trained already.  He has come to an understanding with the cats, although I know some serious ass whoopin by my big cat is in his (not too distant) future.  We are currently working on the fundamentals of leash training and fetch. He is remarkably good at problem solving which both pleases and worries me;  but, I value intelligence so we are getting along just fine.   I am looking forward to having him ride shotgun with me, but that is still a few weeks away as the vet has suggested that we keep him isolated until his full series of shots is complete.

This is usually how it goes around here....

Problem.  She get's caught doing something she isn't supposed to.

Solution.  She finds a way to do it without getting caught.....

Mate, as I said, great dogs..only one problem though...

Even though they are above the average dog intelligence.... he will be hard to train... because.....

Heelers for your enjoyment (a bit long though)... just remember that these are working dogs and need heaps of excercise or they will go the way of Mick...very fat and arthritis ridden...

I also think he will eventually kill your cats....  :-[
