A short vid from North Wire. Sheds a bit of light on shielding types, I thought it interesting and had piqued my interest in finding more out.

well watched the video's you posted......your bud did swap end for end but did recover it!   nice video's and have a couple questions.
a. what kind of other buggy was that with what looked like bicycle wheels on it?
b. did your buddy make his new jersey trip?  ;D
c. what is the wheel base of your buggy in the video?

and the 2nd video....ya that took a shot lol
Baloo posted a topic on it a while back. Maybe he can remember the title . Cool little buggy he built.

baloo look in the video section labeled sandracer1 trip

the drone they use gives the landscape a unique view imo.
  Perfect perspective! Great vids!

Constant spin in 4wd. Yes paddles solved that for sure. Without paddles I could ALMOST hang with them but alas,I could not . With paddles I think I could have mostly kept up. Add a turbo and it would be no problem. I think everyone would have been pretty much equal then. The YXZ in their group was doing very well.

fabr.....looked like you were spinning a bit but paddles solved that. looked like a good run with sandracer1's group. sand looked chewed up.

looks like he is using all 1 inch dom tubing. looks to be a good idea, for saving space around the body pan.
