Gear Lube Comparision

"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Good info!  Thats on my list, to replace diff cover and fluids in next month or so.  My LSD is not working right on my Ford.  Hoping this will fix it.

very interesting and my front and rear diff along with my transfer and trans ( manual) have had the fluids changed twice in 103k miles it now has on it. the origanal went to 50k then again at 90k just because it recieved a new clutch lol but yes people do forget how much heat diff and trans and tranfer cases really  do see! interesting info on the oil though! i used the motocraft brand and don't see that listed so i wonder who makes that for ford? i will have to look at the rating on the bottle now.

I'm in Industrial Mechanics. We are learning about lubrication in Industrial settings. Way more than I wanted to know about lubes, and velocities.  5:
