Have you priced laser cut parts? I think you would be time and money ahead to buy laser cut parts. They aren't much higher than the material cost. And the finish will be much superior. Almost zero grinding. We have some members in Michigan that may be able to point you to a local laser cutter.
Of course if you just want to be self sufficient, my answer is I dunno.
BTW, you can change the "janitor" by going to the "user CP" at the top. Unless it is a vip only option.
