Pretty much based off my current car with needed mods for the different drivetrain. The plate is from Fortin,came with trans.

So the plate is sandwiched between tran and motor?  Cool  I thought it was just to mockup, and rear of motor held front of trans.  Solid mount on motor too?  Looks good.  Makes it faster with all the right tools, off the shelf parts, oh and the fact you know what your doing helps too.  ;D

There's actually 2 adapters there. There's a 1" spacer that is needed to run the torque converter and the black one is the motor/trans adapter since the fortin uses a non OEM pattern. It's only a 11.75" diameter bellhousing. Damn glad too since the small diameter bell housing will allow tranny to slide out the rear between suspension mounts making life/maintenance a lot easier than current buggy where engine must be pulled to get trans out. Yes the trans/engine is all solid mounted. I'm trying to use almost no one off parts on this car. Plenty that can't be bought at the local parts store unfortunately but not one offs either. There's plenty of parts on these things we build that has to be fabbed as it is.

Speaking of fabbing.............. I based my seart sliders on the very coo, IMO ,ones that Mosebilt sells. Only reason I didn't buy his is because he doesn't stock them and I'm impatient. I also think my idea for the adjuster will be much nicer but you' will have to wait till the pieces get here to complete Tuesday.

Got nearly all of the bottom layer done this week end and the seats mounted. Should see suspension components this coming week.
