Title: New project.. 07 polaris 500efi 4x4.
Post by: Wildcatfan on October 15, 2014, 11:27:11 AM
Cab heater and wipers pretty much sold me on this thing. Frame was kinda rough and rotten to where the drivers side a arm was hanging by the strut alone.  Welded that all back up and a few pieces of angle. Should be good to go now and everything works on it. Cab needs taken off worked over a little and sanded and blasted with new paint. No rust holes in it though. A better front bumper would be nice too.

You can see how bad the chassis is in this picture. Imo to plate the rest of what you see, the cab really needs to come off. But I wanted to see how well it ran out before all that. I believe it will last the winter for me anyways.  Who knows I may just buy a front portion frame off ebay one day.

Yea I agree, it sounded loud in that video. It's actually pretty quiet in person. Should be able to make a few $$ on it.

It was auctioned from one of the locations I work. A lot of slag and coal dust and never washed much. One reason it was kinda loud.. I changed the plug today and it was so loose I don't know how it stayed in there. It made quit a bit of difference... lol new plug and cvt belt done today. New a arm brushing and pins. Now just a front universal joint and a ball joint should be pretty tight.
