I just got off the phone with Ron Weddle from Weddle Enterprises and I have good news and one problem. The good news is that they do make a Weddle racing 4.86 ring and pinion  for the awd 094 transaxle. The problem is that the output shaft housing is not strong enough for this application according to Ron . He suggested that building a custom billet aluminum housing should solve that problem.  :D

It's the front driveshaft decoupler for the syncro trans we're talking about.

Ok. I'm going off my memory from my 094 tech manual. That's the housing that is NOT strong enough for this application and a custom housing needs to be built.  5:

In that case, there's isn't a reason we can't get this project done for them.  8) 8) 8)

What about using a transaxle out of a fwd car in place of a transfer case. That would give me a reverse, automatic trans, and a torque converter. only shift the busa trans to vary the imput speed to the trans axle. when im in the rocks mabey run the Busa in 2nd or 3rd, sift it on up for faster speeds in the desert. only thing I wounder is, can a car trans take the high input rpms of the Busa?

Busas have the same,or nearly the same ,rpm as any high perf automotive engine due to the internal primary gear reduction of engine rpms BEFORE the trannt input shaft. You'll only see approx 8000 rpm max out/countersheft rpm on any bike engine for the same reason.

Slept on the idea? What are the output ratios of each gear on the Busa?

You would ask. LOL!! Been so long now I can't quote that off the top of my head right now. I'll look them back up tomorrow but I will say that standard ratios in the transaxle are pretty unusable when coupled to the busa trans.

Don't forget to factor in the 1.596:1 primary reduction when doing calcs.
