Mid board micro stub?? ?? ?? What??
-
WOW! KIller ride for sure!! Hope it sells fast!! Must be fun to drive!
-
Microstubs
-
Are they midboards OR stubs?> Gotta be one or the other. It LOOKS like midboards on there.
-
Looks good, where'd they put the radiator? ???
-
Bugs are air cooled don't you know? Hmmmmm, good question tho.
-
near the Ecotec engine I guess
-
Radiator is inside, just in front of the motor. I talked to him and they are mid-boards.
-
I thought so. For those that don't know of midboards-let's just say$$$$$$$. Adds a couple $K to a build.
-
Good for travel though! Longer axle length to get less CV angle in a given space....correct?
-
Bingo!. That's why I went with mids.
-
Yeah, I couldn't afford em, but 18" in an 1800lb car is not too bad if you get the coils/valving right! I love my two stage spring setup rides nice and smooth but is stiff as hell if I need it!
-
Does this get much air flow on the rad being inside like that?
-
Probably relies on the fans...
-
Wonder how much heat is then pumped into the cabin?
-
If its anything like the sand cars, not much if any, the fans carry the heat out not in and they move a good amount of air if they are any good...
-
He only took it out a couple times but never complained about the heat or overheating.

18" in rear? What is the front of yours?
-
LOL! Like 8" HAHA!! I need to finish the front still!
-
I'm sure that will change in the future ;D
-
So this bad boy get sold?
-
Nope. He wants to sell it but doesnt need to. If he does he will build another but a little more tame. I know deep down he doesnt want to. He is like many of us who sells a project as soon as its done only to start another one. I dont think he is trying very hard. I think he lists it every couple weeks locally and thats all.
-
OK
I was just weeding out the classifieds...
I'l leave it up...Cool looking ride
-
You might want to hit DS up for one of his a arm kits. Well designed and work well/correctly.
