witch one works better??

A belt and a gas pedal... ;D

IMO, straight solid linkage would be fine, try to cross the car etc and you will get flex IMO.... cable is easiest and can be routed around corners etc...

the main problem with my clutch cable i have noticed, its extrmely stiff to squeeze the lever. cable moves freely in the conduit..?? so i dont know.  also, its such afat cable that when attatched to my shifter its hard to move the shifter forward and back due to the stiffness of the fat cable...

i stated that the cable moves easily inside the conduit housing.. its something with the leverage reducer to the clutch.. or something.

it's more likely that its the lever you are using to pull the cable with.  or a kink in the housing.

Once you take it for a ride, and the adrenalin kicks in, you'll never even notice that it's hard to pull.

Here's how I did it on my 954. It had a great feel and I plan to do this again on the RC51
The rod has got to be heavy though. It will bow if you make it too light. I used a 3/8 stainless rod at first and it bent. I ended up using 1/2" stainless tubing with the 3/8 stainless welded at the ends. Never had a problem with it after the fix.
