ANd it's not yet written in stone about going mid engine due to the raised drive flange locations as you pointed out.

We should (Sorry, I know nobody likes to get 'should on' - its just a suggestion) have a link section to trusted vendors and who has had good dealings with them. - just a mini review and an organized approach - For example, I sing the praises of Outfront and would not hesitate to send somebody there.  Mastr might have issues with Don's Bus box?  That might make me go to AZ Transaxle when the time comes.
