Looks like good ol chinese pressed metal, low pressure.  Good God if Specinator sees that you'll have to move in w/Master for sure.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.

hadn't even given that a thought but ,by golly, i bet you're right.

I got a few ideas, but I'm gonna wait for the official plan....

It looks to me like that shear pin is too big for that dia shaft, Chinese or otherwise.

I'll have to get some more pix....
Ya when Specinator got home from work the shit hit the fan...The drive was protected by a 1/4" "NO GRADE BOLT" on the input shaft...That fooken box was rated for 40 HP...My Boda is rated at 19 @the pto...IT WAS IDLING
The 3PT. post hole digger is a Shaver...built in Rochester MN...and is the WORST CRAFTSMANSHIP I HAVE EVER SEEN........Nothing was deburred.....the pins, plain old hot rolled round stock. not chamfered,or deburred...the paint job was over raw steel...No primer, or a wipedown, I'll get pix...pretty disappointing for American made quality
I also have to add it doesn't have a guide bar to guide the auger or a provision to mount one so everything just flops around...this is my 3rd post hole auger...The 1st one got used to punch holes into the rootbase for blowing stumps behind a Farmall super M...The 2nd one was used for making holes for pole barns, and foundations for log homes behind a Farmall H...Both of those got the shit kicked out of them and came back for more
I could have spent 300 bux less and got a Chinese one
The bit is an even bigger joke
The machine work is good, The weld is pretty good...But it isn't what I ordered and it took a month to get here thumb down
Here's where it gets to make you giggle
The holes for the shear pins were in the wrong places...an inch too low on the shaft and not at 45* spread...I had to elongate the holes to get the shear bolts in, and cut off an inch on top...VOIDING THE WARRANTY

WAIT THE SAGA CONTINUES.....
The Bit is too small to tear the wood apart as it screws in...it pulls the log up to the near the gear box and if you can't break the peices apart..get out the chainsaw and cut it off the bit...
I'll just get more pix
I do gotta say that the Boda is top notch...

The bottom pix are the 1/4" no grade bolt from the input shaft VS. the output shat side by side...My money would have been on the output shaft holding kick

Are the pins supposed to have a bushing in there to take up the slack? I know some of our 3 point stuff uses bushings or it is sloppy.

No the output shaft takes a 1/2" pin the pix are showing the input shaft shear bolt VS. the output shaft sizing  ;D
Lesson learned on this deal... I should have just had the rear wet kit put on the Boda, and robbed a couple of cylenders off the skidder and built a hydraulic splitter in the first place

I'm thinking you should have just bought this nice little unit and you'd have had no problems.
