   I feel that in last two weeks and four locked threads I have actually learned more world history then all my school years combind. I know that some on this site were getting a tad tired of the political threads but did you all notice how quite it got when they were locked? People were needing to talk about it.  We all have a great deal to learn of our gov's that we don't see but outher people do.  Some time's you can't see the forrest because of the trees.   Now who said that?

I will add that we also must respect the fact that others will not always agree and that that does not necessarily make them wrong or right.  Trying to brow beat others with "intellectual superiority" does not sit well with the opposing view. Nor does name calling or insults.If that's all you have to offer -keep it to yourself-PLEASE.

I know it has slowed the site down with post count...
I know that we didn't want to lock them...But IMO. I think it was  a neccisary Evil...
Things were beginning to spiral into the toilet...
I'm no Political expert but I felt that the last debates we had were spooky at 1st...But did OK...I learned alot from them...I think once every body has had a breather, and a chance to go back and re-read whats been said with a cool head and a new perspective
We'll be happy to unlock them and have at er' again...
