Kids Buggy
« on: August 29, 2013, 08:06:27 AM »
I think these pix were posted here on this forum before. Some of the guys over on MBN seem to think that perhaps King Sand cars or similar made a kids buggy for a customer once..This might be incorrect, but regardless, can anyone offer up any info on this little mini mini buggy?

Sure would like to build this for my boy. He's a little guy now, but by the time its finished he should be old enought to drive it hahaha.

Also believe I saw that on Glamis Dunes.com  Pretty sure one of the builders built it for a customers kid.  Wouldn't be hard to build, prob use quad front suspension and shocks too.  Or Protodie has a nice kids size ride, and believe plans are avail(or will be soon)

I inquired about build plans many years ago. They were in the works.  Still waiting.

Post any info you find. That does look like a cool project. My son turns three on Saturday, I might be able to have it done just before puberty!  rofl

3/4" schedule 40 pipe for the chassis? 1.05" OD seems right and it wouldn't need DOM strength.

It will be way better than what a lot of sixteen year old kids are doing.
