Just doing a K&N but I'd rather have one of those centrifugal ones. Forget the name.  I might still mount one but the specs on one that is big enough for a busa is pretty bulky. Maybe I was misinterpreting the charts tho. I need to contact them to be sure. Just haven't had a spare second for so long i wouldn't know what to do with it. LOL!!!

Donaldson, and no your not mistaken on the flow charts. They do not flow all that well. Most of them have the inner safety filter. You can discard those for about a 30% increase in flow with no filtering capability loss.

I am in the same boat.  For the LS1 it looks like I would need 2 and I just do not have the room.  At first I will use a K/N, but there are some filters out there that use a blue element and are dry cone shaped that are supposed to be a lot better than the K/N.
You smell that?

My K&n is up out of the way of dust and mud. With an outer skin I don't feel there's worry.

Those dry air filters that you are trying to think of are made by AFE (advanced flow engineering). 8) 8) 8)

I the type of conditions you drive in that's a decent set-up.

You will never hit the world pf brown outs like the Donaldson filters are designed for.
If you had miles of silt beds, you would need something like this.

I am trying to find a small pair (2" round) HID or LED to replace my stock halogens. I prefer the HIDs. I am not having much luck locating any. I run off of a stator so wattage is a big issue for me. I am lookinh to stay below 10 watts each. Any insight from you guys where I can locate some?
