Well alli for alli ms for ms, we don't, or I should say I haven't seen differing grades for alli I don't know about ss but! I haven't done much stainless work. Also you want to turn ya pulse frequence down and ya pulse duty, arc force just into the white marker on the second one at the back of the dial. Ya Know what I mean? Ifn ya want I can take a pic of where I have my settings to weld a bit of 1.6 alli. Sorry Bud I've probably confused the crap outta ya,so yeah I'll take a pic and post it! here ya go bud hope it helps.
It will make it a lot easier, I managed to do a few tanks and other things with out it!
Nah it was extra. Thanks Mr Fabr!In the book it says use a high frequency for doing aluminium, Is this correct?what about the pusle duty or what every it is?So many noob's, not just me :O
You can buy the correct filler anywhere.Yes,the high freq generates a "pilot" arc for the torch so you can initiate an arc without touching the aluminum with the tungsten. I use high freq for aluminum and steel both.It CAN be done otherwise but................................... I don't use it.
Yes, all 3 and a half pages
