Tie the front of the tube into the tube adapters also.Don't just stop at the joint between the tube and adapter.

loyalty to the American people."

Do that and you SHOULD have a stout set of arms.

No,like this.
That's what I was saying, and was gonna photoshop a pic to show him exactly that, but for some reason this forum won't let me drag pics to the screen and then photo shop them. I have to open grab, then copy a selected area (the pic), then save it, then open it again, save it as a jpg, then modify it, then I can post it, and honestly, sometimes it's just too annoying to actually do.  This forum is the only one I have problems with pics like that...

Just in case anyone is unclear where the problem could be, the blue line shows the axis where the bend can occur, and the red arrows show which way it will bend.  Think about the force on the tire, and the force of the shock trying to twist the arm.

I marked it ahead of the weld earlier because I thought it was more likely to bend the single tube just in front of the weld than it was where you marked it trying to bend 2 tubes with a big weld tying them together, but whit the additional bracing he added, i'm not sure how it will effect it.  I think anywhere from where you marked, up to the tube adapter is the bend area, and more than likely it won't be in one spot, but rather a bow in the entire section....
