R1 Buggy
« on: July 24, 2011, 12:38:25 PM »
So after much debate Ive decided to put my buggy up for sale. Nothing wrong with it. Two reasons I'm selling is because I don't have the time for it like I used to. And even though my daughter loves it I'm looking for an ATV or UTV something more useable year round. Was built in 2009 Brian from DS racing built roller and I finished the rest. It hasn't been painted yet so it will give whoever buys it the chance to make whatever changes they want and paint/finish the way they want. Asking $10K for it. Will consider trades on a 4 wheel drive ATV or a utv along with some cash depending on what it is. Let me know what you have and maybe we can make a deal.

The Buggy.

Built 2009
Built from 1.25 in tubing and 1 inch bracing
6 link rear end
kingpin spindle front end
5 x 4.5 bolt hubs on rear
Heavy duty center section
4 piston wilwood brake caliper
Krause racing chain.
2003 Yamaha R1
2.0 Fox air shocks
22 in wheel travel all around
PWR radiator
U joint axles
Spun aluminum gas tank
Wing trunk
Aluminum floor
4 point racing harnesses
Factory gauges
Latest Rage steering rack
Latest Rage foot bar and grab handle
Latest Rage stainless steel spark arrestor
Aluminum pedals
Hydraulic clutch

Dimensions
Front 76 inches wide
Rear 86 inches wide
Appox 1100 lbs

Asking $10k or possible trade for ATV or nice utv

I have a spare motor and lots of parts i will send along with this and might be willing to meet or deliver it. Its located in Wynot NE zipcode 68792. Would be a good buggy for someone who doesn't want to spend 35K on one. It uses alot of off the shelf parts so easy to repair if anything does break. I'm sure I missed some stuff but if your interested PM me or call Clay at 402 369 4050. Thanks

Not a half bad price. Shame you have to sell it.
