That it is.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

The buried, mid board mounted ,cv allows a few extra inches axle length. That makes for a bit less cv angle at full droop  and also a longer axle will twist a bit more than a shorter axle giving a small amount more shock absorbing capability. Every little bit helps.

Unfortunately I got extremely busy at work, the house finally is coming out of the ground and the new toterhome needed a few minor things attended to and upgraded to my liking such as sat tv while going down the road and have not touched the desert car for about a month now. I should be back on it in another week or 2 though. Going to the lake in the toter Saturday to clear my head. Been WAAAYYYYY too much going on.

Not much but it's been so slow lately it's better than nothing. ;D ;D Camera angle really screwed with the 2nd one. The mid board plate is not angled as it appears.

WOW   Very nice tubework!
Interesting how you slice it after the bends so you can get the fishmouth clocking just right.....  I just learned something :)

Or is that a white line?

It's a white paint line I mark all tubes with. Much easier to see. I get the clocking right in the bender or it gets set aside to be cut up for something shorter. Clocking is not too hard if the bender is plumb to the earth. Otherwise it's impossible,IMO.

I just noticed you said fishmouth clocking. The fishmouth clocking is done with careful marking.  I setup the bends with bendtech, cut to near final size, put in place and mark centerline of fishmouth. LOL!!!! I don't know about anyone else but I get about 95% on the mark.

looks good. I can't tell from the pic but does the lower arm and on the front side of it, does that pitch forward?

I like mid engine btw!   ;D

Didn't quite follow that but the arms are parallel in all directions.

There IS a 3.125" offset in the front bar of the  lower arm ,if that's what you meant. That is to make for a better mount placement for the shock. Upper arm front bar is straight to allow shock body /spring clearance.

actually i was referring to like a 45* pitch forward for lateral support or load on the lower arm.

Are the rear uprights basically finished parts?
