Title: sxs
Post by: dsrace on January 13, 2020, 08:50:35 AM
i flew down to ft worth to visit my grandson and children. we stopped at the largest bass pro shop i have ever been too! to be honest its only the 2nd lol but bigger than the omaha store. so i saw they had a few sxsns for sale with the tracker name on them, just like the tracker boats. upon closer inspection they had to be made by textron imo. they looked just like the textron wild cat xx. i asked the salesman and sure enough they are the wildcat xx re badged for tracker.  i did not drive one but i and my son in law did sit in it like little kids  rofl  the seats are not comfortable and the dash/interior reminds me of one of my grandsons plastic toys. roll cage and suspension looks good and leg room is good as well as head clearence. i like the tracker grapghics better  ;D      only $19k onsale......saleman told me they had it up to 78mph in the field behind the parking lot. i honestly wouldn't be surprised if it actually did do 78 mph.

i do have to add.....i can see the attraction, especially if they have never been in a decent sand rail. sign and drive, claims of 70 to 80 mph ( too fast imo for a narrow track width) and 4wd. auto trans on most is a plus for the vast majority along with endless aftermarket support.  top of the line fox shocks and fairly easy to work on for those that can and prob fewer can than i think.  no matter what ...... for dune purposes, its still not a sand rail and felt very stiff and cheap inside.

Ditto and one small accident and the thing is nearly totalled.
