Suspension arm jig (or it will be)

Used a heap of scrap to make up this solid small table to which I can mount the plates to set up the various suspension arms Im gonna need.

Mount plates will be bolt on. Change em for the reareuppers andethen the lowers and the same for the front. Plates will simply bolt in place with guide pins to align them securely.

This was no big deal but tool a little time to cut up the scrap as its all big stuff. Thank christ for power hacksaws....






I dont know if this will show how solid this sucker is. It weighs a ton....

So what Artie you gonna weld a plate on the end so you can bolt the end bits in place then tack? Looks strong enough. I like the way Adam did his arms, a bit of angle and a couple of clamps, jobs right.. Adam AKA Grim.

Yeah Im ok with it Doug, and yes, where the hell is Adam? Was interested to see how his water jet worked out (water/laser??)

He Pm'd me the other day I think he's still kick'n around. I wasn't take'n the piss Artie I just liked the simplicity of his idea, cause I did simillar to what you did. :-\
