15" wheel-what is your favorite offroad/not paddle tire? Brand ,style, etc.. I think we discussed this before but can't find it. I have recently seen the Firestone Destination M/T tire. Looks pretty damn good but I know nothing about them . Any suggestions/opinions?

enemy has had nothing but outstanding things to say about his kumos! after having seen what he has done to those and no real signs of extreme wear I would go with a set.

I've run them on my trucks before but tread life was shorter than others. Of course a softer compound should get a bit more traction. I assume he's using the Kumho M/T's?

I am not 100% sure maybe he will post up some specs.

Hey Masterfabr I used to work at a Firestone and we sold the shit out of those M/T's! I never heard anyone complain and they last a really long time. I had a guy get 75 to 80,000 out of a set. He rotated them every other oil change and made sure the alignment was right. I only heard one complaint, a guy said they were a little noisy compared to his Destination LE's(which is a highway type tire) but when you go from a highway type to a MT that's to be expected. He understood and said he really liked them though. Just food for thought.

Firestones are Bridgestones aren't they?

Firestone is in bed with Bridgestone yes, they are the same company just different brand.

I'd have to say the BFGoodrich Mudterrain.... ran them on EVERYTHING I've owned and love 'em! Pricey but well worth it... the new KMs are really bitchin'!

My rail has BFG MT's. They are working pretty good. I put the Goodyear Duratrac on my truck and I love those. Dam good off road, quite on road, and handle the weight of my trailer beautifully! I would do the Duratracs if I was buying tires today!

I like BFG A/T KO, I've had them on my last 2 trucks and got over 100,000 miles on them and they still had a 1/4 tread on them! Just my .02 8) 8) 8)
