I'd hate it. But what's the alternative?
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

A regular paycheck shits all over unemployment benefits.

Mate I took a job working night shift at Maccas, and that's actually working out fine.

Bullshit.  I hear people say that all the time, but there is plenty of work available, ya just got to do it.  I've washed down hog buildings, shoveled off roofs, cleared sidewalks, I even worked at a pizza joint to keep money coming in.  There is always work available if you want it.

Ya would think those jobs would be available, but the damn Mexicans have taken those jobs too. I have contacted the local farmers for milking, same-thing. I'm just looking for a 8-12 hr work week. I'll take any shift it doesn't matter to me, I need money coming in. The past year I have applied to more than 30 company's and only had 20 interviews.

There's truth in both of those.

The hours may suck but it beats the alternatives.

Other than not having a life it's not all that bad. Around here it's top wage.

I was making $16.80 in 1985 then things slowed down and wages dropped to$12.90 and stayed there a few years before creeping back up. In 2004 was making $26.00 and i would like to say that i NEVER made TOO much money. Seems like i retired at the right time because, not only is wages down but not enough work/jobs and the jobs there are make you jump thru hoops and be glad to do it!!!

Sorry to hear that.

Arizonas unemployment rate is over 10% and nearly as bad as Michigan.

Utah is much better and a offroaders dreamland for the most part. Just food for thought.
Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.
