so i dont need to buy motorcycle specific oil?  should i stick with the suggested weight in the manual? hell i just ran castrol 10w40 in my katana, said 10w40 on the cap...

so why do you guys prefer the mobil 15w-50 over say, the mobile 10w-40 4t motorcycle oil?  the 15w-50 says meets requirements for diesel engines blah blah..  just curious..  the 15w-50 is cheaper than the 10w-40 4t also.

I use it because the guys at SH.org generally recommend it on turbo busas.

Redline 20/50 full synthetic. I have a turbo and it actually lowered engine temp by 10-15*. It is pricey but well worth it IMO. I also use Redline SHOCKPROOF full synthetic in the FNR box.

i ended up buying mobile 1 10w40 4t motorcycle oil.  10$ a quart.. dang!!!   engine takes 3.1 quarts, id like to slap the effer that decided the engine needed .1 extra quarts.

I use amsoil in my 2 strokes ...but that is a totally different animal
