2022 Spring LS Trip May 3rd thru May 7th

I dune in the summer heat. I like it because it eliminates 99 % of others. To me, it isn't hot while driving. Only hot sitting outside in camp. That is why we all have a/c now! I welcome it right now, because we just got hit with a winter storm.

i am officially out on the spring trip. cannot get parts faste enough nor find missing part to finish scotts rail. i have too many other projects to get done as well. to the truck and toyhauler let alone the house

That sucks. We definitely need to set up another trip for everyone to get together, as soon as you get caught up. We will send pics to you from the May trip. You know, just to tease you! (Now I probably just jinxed myself, and my buggy won't work) I had a delay here at home with my progress, lately. It seems that my electrical system couldn't handle the power load from the 12 miles of tig welding my heavy aluminum fuel tank. It melted the wiring in my meter/breaker box, and completely exploded the heavy lug and breaker! I should have took a picture of it. Luckily my power company didn't ask questions. Oh, and also didn't burn my property to the ground and die!

You will be missed. BTW,ds,how in the hell do you have anything to do to your TH? The damn thing is brand new!!! I give it another year before you trade it in on something yet again................   If you traded in a wife everytime it wasn't perfect you'd be on what? number 15? I guess that must mean you got lucky and Denise was perfect right from the beginning. You need the same luck with toyhaulers.

You guys all like night riding so we still have all summer to do a get together before the fall ride.

Well that just blows DS.  It is going to be a smaller group for sure.  Now not having parts is ok, but work around the house and on the toy hauler excuses will not be tolerated!    
Glad you found out on the coil fabr. 
I haven't fired mine up yet and just remembered my leveling jacks were leaking bad when I put the M/H away last year.

i cannt believe you didnt burn the garge down! melted the lug and no fire, damn! glad there was no fire, glad you caught it now and will make it better.

ya it does suck missing a trip. this will be the only trip i havent made since the group runs started.  once i get each rail done there will have to be a short test and tune dune run.
