it was a great trip ! always nice to see everyone and catch up. the weather was damn near perfect but i have to say again, that is the most humid weather i have ever experienced at that dunes! the decorations in our rental camper were a nice touch and not unexpected  :m

i did tear dunebouds frame but not big deal, it may be 20 years old but apparently hadn't finished evolving yet  ;D ;)  once i get all that fixed i know it will be my idea of safe for the kids.  i have a working theory as to why it happened too  rofl

fought wind all the way home, always love that  bs1

hauled the griddle , lp tank, water, soda and cooler down in the utv box. did so last time and this trip but..... this time the cooler decided to jump out on the way back. the carton of eggs exploded all over everything  :m only got 18 years out of that cooler darnit.  general g was driving by right after the half mile round trip jog to retrieve it, but he didn't get any pics so it didn't happen  :m its kind of nice having the utv down there to tool around in.

general G......... thanks for the ride, it is a fantastic rail.  having said that, shiny beads have never impressed me. people that know their rails, know how to dune are the people that impress me. i am not embarrassed to admit you had me reaching for the grab handle on the 2nd drop in. it was at that point i figured out you know your ride and  can dune. it was a blast after that. while out , we saw a few endangered species buzzing around aka old school tail draggers.  glad they were having fun but i don't miss that days at all !

fabr, i know your putting a new engine it but damn, i couldn't see a want for better response out of your rail, still impressed!

zoomies is starting to shed paddle after 40 years   ;D   here's to hoping its time for new paddles   ;) ;D rofl

fabr, i never got around to lowering the cross over ring. i am sure it will make a difference but it was riding 10x better then before and not bottoming out on landings. i now know it has seen 6 more inches of wheel travel then it had in the past. thats how i now know the passenger side upper tabs don't have enough stand off to the frame. the rod jamb nuts hit the frame and bent. i am sure that added to the twisting moment on the frame tube.

deepbusch and mike, you two never disappoint leading the group runs !!

Some of the best weather and sand you could ask for.  Big group that changed throughout the week.  DS cracked the frame at a rear mount and JC tore a CV boot off, not bad so far.  Mine popped out of gear @ a really bad time.  Mike got poison ivy getting the last bolts taking my wing off so the tree didn't eat it.  And the "Sandborghini" returned to the sand after 19 years.  Awesome over all.

No damage. I turn the water off when we leave. Got lucky and the guy that did some work for me 5 years ago came right over this morning and had us back in business before noon. 2 guys @ $135 an hour combined. Pretty reasonable for unscheduled repair at short notice. I was quite pleased I did not have to fix the shit myself. Plumbers are in short supply down here.

Glad they got it fixed and a good thing you shut the water off! I have no doubt plumbers are in short supply which makes that price amazing.

It's raining under our house at Waynoka. Broken water line. Apparently some of the towns cats fought to get under the house this winter and failed to close the crawl space door when they left. Gonna be stuck around the house till the plumber gets here-hopefully.

Well that sucks. I hope there is no foundation damage.
