if it was a few hrs closer i would make weekend trips.

did you make it to LS over the weekend? are you attending out group meet up? don't worry your not the only one that can run 55 mph in 1st gear  :D i have a 4.43 r&p and a 2.21 1st gear.

Didn't go. My brothers truck broke down, Craig and Jimmy had to work, and I am tired of going alone. I am always afraid to drive hard, because if something breaks, there is no way back to camp. About the trans gearing, I have parts ordered to convert to 4.44. My 1st gear is 3.454, 2nd is 2.062, and 3rd is 1.448. At 5000 rpm, that is 29 mph in 1st, 49 mph in 2nd, and 69 mph in 3rd. I just noticed, after writing that, that is 20 mph difference in each gear. The difference I feel between 2nd and 3rd must be a hp thing. I hope to show up for a few days of your group ride. All depends on what is going on at work during the week.
