I've been looking for a long time at the vortex type air filters. I can't remember the name right now but they are a vortex prefilter with a secondary paper element all in a common housing. Help me out here guys with a name.
Anyway the question is -would it be a bad idea to do a front mount like up between the front suspension and duct it to the engine from there? Other than the duct being 3" or so to deal with? Maybe it's a dumb idea but there's not all that much room in the back for one without it being in the way some time or other.
