Temp gauges
« on: April 23, 2009, 09:01:01 PM »
I am thinking of running two. One by the thermostat and one after the radiator. I want to know if there is a promblem before it is a issue. Does anyone else do this, good idea or not, I have the dash space?

Well, its not a BAD idea, but what are you hoping to gain from it?

When the waters gone, the engine one will heat up after the engine is fried or at least while its frying).

When the waters there, they will both tell you whats goin on....

Only advantage I can see is redundancy in case one fails...

Let us know how you get on.

One failing is your anwser, a gauge is cheap insurance. I like redundacy if it affordable and will work.

"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907
