You want to trick it into thinking it's in 5th gear though so you avoid the speed limiter of 6th gear..

yea i got the 15,000 omh resistors i needed.  had to buy a 100 combo pack to get one resistor i need.  lame.  15,000omhs is 6th gear.  i dont need to worry about 6th gear limiter for my 600cc.

no. they had ten drawers with like 100 different ohms in each drawer, looked at everyone...  every size around 15k..lol its all good was only 7$ for the combo pack. came with a whole 5, 15k resistors.  lol

well spent an hour making my tre.. made it a plug in unit, no cutting wires, and with a switch..  truthfully, there is no difference from switch on or off.. maybe its just me.. an using my ohm meter, im getting 14,970 with switch on, which is considered correct...   

also installed my dealer mode switch to read engine codes. my throttle position sensor is not centered, need to fix that!

Congrats,you just copied the ones that don't work. Seriously though,you aren't going to FEEL a thing. Pretty damn hard to tell a few degrees timing change by the seat of your pants.That's what dragstrips are for.

well it works though.. i verified that its working..  from what i was reading on the forums, i was expecting to feel something.. people said that 1st gear engine braking was almost null after tre install... feels the same to me.

i think im gonna test this deal out, but taking a new resistor- crimping mini spades on it, and sticking it directly on the ecu gps connector...  we'll see what happens.  every forums says that when tre is on that your idle will drop.
