How many know the actual weight of their toy, ready to leave the gate, without driver/passenger?

sad to say that i do! 1960 lbs here, your lighter than i am lol i was just shocked at what mine weighs......hell i am right up there with the 4 seat turbo sxs people, except i have 3 times the tq rofl ;D ;D ;) ;)
that is a very good weight btw, i believe that is what carl's turbo zx12r weighs also.

I took mine to certified scales so I could honestly answer the question: how much does your car weigh? Now, for my actual horsepower, I am not sure. I go by what John at Outfront says, which is 200 hp. Heck, I can't drive it to it's potential, so why bother with huge hp and expenses. That is just my theory. Any others? Fast?

My neighbor has car scales since he races. Mine was 1640 lbs. I never weighed the old VW beam cars.

Thought was 1280 but dang 1320 rings a bell. Shoulda snapped a pic. I fig 1200 after turbo goodies. Think helium in tires would help? :m

carl 1280 is close enough to 1300 and 1320 is close enough to 1300. yours may have been 1280 i was rounding up. mine weighed 1960 lbs and one run behind allan with his un cut tires and i guarantee i'm a flat 2000 lbs rofl no matter how you shake it....mines a tank ;D i know the dual a arms weigh more than my old 6 link or a TA suspension. i know i built my entire frame out of .120 wall dom. that all adds up pretty quickly as well as my 400 lb motor. the small v8 Ls motor weighs 400 lbs dressed lol if i remember correctly the suby 2.5 is 300 lbs dressed. now all the frames i have built in the past , i could pick up by myself. this current one was a shocker when i could not pick it up! figured i was just getting old and tired but damn! i guess it wasn't me rofl if i could shed 600 lbs it would feel like a whole new machine :m

My HRT is somewhere south of 2000, with me and fuel 2300.
