I agree with yoshi on this one 100%.
Bloody hell! Something just froze over!!
455, there's not much to cut out apart from lights, horn and associated switchgear. You may replace the sidestand cutout with a diode but unless you enjoy wiring I'd leave the fusebox intact. Then there's the ignition switch swap where you need an inline resistor. If you want to bin your tipover sensor you can replace it with a resistor as well.Depending on the region your bike was programmed for, (discernable by the part number on the ECU) you may have air injection wiring you can flick as well as the PAIR wiring.By all means, keep the yosh plug, it may come in very handy for you.And Yoshi is 100% correct regarding the instrument cluster. All the remaining wiring is required by the ECU. Just thank your lucky stars you haven't got a Gen II Hayabusa to rewire!Camel
For that matter do you have a source for ANY colors with tracers?
Just the orange + trace wires. Apart from scavenging off late model suzuki car wrecks, I can't find a supplier, unless I want to order enough to rewire a small town.Yoshi, seriously, where do you get them?
at the solid color wire with tracer store, duh!...........I have a local supplier, I can get pretty much any amount in the loom with any gauge, can even order customer ones with thicker and thinner gauge in the same loom. The one in th epic is the main one I use to extend all my wires forward, it holds (16) 16 gauge wires and I always have some I don't use. It's SHO cord I believe, so it is extremely flexibly with the oil proof coating, even with 16 wires. I also use some of the 4 and 6 wire lines for lights and such.......
