I saw something similar go by on a trailer the other day.  Four wheels on each side with tracks over tires.  The thing looked brand new to me with modern styling and all.

I beleive what you saw was an Argo. They make them in six wheels and eight wheels. They make tracks and tops for them to so its a mini floating SUV of sorts.
Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

I always wanted to go play with one of those. They're so damn handy for anything work or play!

Now for the scary question... How much are they $$???

15-30K new depending on model/options. Used 4-15K. I requested a quote on a Centaur before I saw it wasn't amphibious . I'd be more interested in a 750HDI instead.
