St Anthony's Idaho Aug 5-9 2024 Group Ride Days

I'm heading out Friday, will get there early Sunday.  That is a good route to take that Glenn and Jerry showed me. 

With the low humidity and mid 50's at night, it will be ok. 

I called and no fire ban right now so I'm taking wood; well you know what I mean.

That's the route I always take. With my under powered toter it has proven the best for me. We will leave Coffeyville at 7 as well Sat morning. I'll be about 2 1/2 hours behind you and will be lucky to average 60 miles an hour. Plan to get to at least Laramie first day.  Usually find the rest area(Summit, 9 miles east of Laramie)  east of Laramie for the night. Sometimes stop a bit sooner.  We will arrive sometime late Sunday afternoon/early evening.

The forecast has improved tho!!!!!!!!!

That always sucks. Sounds like someone else had some diesel emissions issues on the way up too. I hope all is smooth sailing from all on the rest of the trip.

Looks our cool down with highs in the 89's starts tomorrow. Soooo tired of this 100* weather.

All I can say is those who were unable to make it missed out on some real high quality duning. Jerry Cass did a fine job as leader. We were out for about 3 hours each day so far. Grant and I used around 20 gallons  each per run.

I agree wholeheartedly. I bet I can guess what a couple pics will be. One of them better be with both Jerry and me! The trip was great and the best dune experience I have had. Jerry did a fantastic job as leader. I came far closer to rolling than I ever have on one transition. Got my attention. Saved it , though barely.

Yup,2 miles per gallon. Yup,real runs. Calling Fortin tomorrow for a new R&P.  $$$$$  . No one had any dune carnage that I know of.

I got no pics or footage. I think Grant was the only videographer. I know he got some stuff of me in slightly embarrassing situations. I hope he got the one of both me and Jerry perched atop a dune ridge.
