Figured I would start a new thread to not mix it with the DS arm thread.
Obviously we have completed the front end swap and am liking it. So much so that the rear is at a disadvantage now. Currently have 3x3's with a torsion delete running 14" travel 2.5" coilovers. Pretty good at making valving changes and spring rate changes based on terrain, but there is one nagging thing we cant get dialed in, if we do it really effects everything else. I am thinking a little more width/length for leverage and the angle at which the trailing arms arc are the ways to fix this. But with my limited knowledge on this it's just a guess but watching another rail with the same set up go through these bumps I can see what we feel, if that makes any sense?
So is there enough difference between 3x3 and 5x5 to make a noticeable change in ride? Other than travel? And does/will the mounting points make a difference? 2 points on the back of the torsion making there no camber and a straight up and down arc, vs a camber or angled arc using the side of the torsion?
