Hello all
« on: October 18, 2008, 01:10:04 AM »
I like motorsports!  I've had fun racing motocross, drag cars, and 4-wheelers.  Have also played with bullet bikes, power boats, and RC planes.

Currently I have a drag car, banshee, KX500, and Sail Boat (it gets great mileage).

I work in a small shop that designs and builds industrial automation equipment, some medical equipment, and does other odd jobs.  Also do some farming on the side.

Have gone to Little Sahara in Ok on and off for 15 years, and been to Glamis once.  I would like to build a 2-seat buggy with either MC or Subaru power, and am here to get ideas and see what's out there.

Welcome to the site Engineer. I hope you find what you are looking for. I am currently building a MP'erd 2 seat buggy. You can check it out in the threads. Hell i think there are four of them going on about it right now all pretaining different info about the buggy and the tools it takes. These cats will do thier best to steer you in the right direction. Later.

Sure Spec.  I am not much of a picture taker but I'll give you what I have.  I have been working on it since a crash a while back, I have some pics of what it used to look like.  The motor in the pics is a 582CI with dart block, callies crank, GRP rods, Big duke heads, Divinci Dominator, etc.  On the dyno it made 1100 Hp with no nitrous.  Powerglide tranny, 9" rear.  Best time bracket racing (no nitrous) was 8.18 at 169.  Tryed a 200 shot of nos and it went 7.77 @ 180, but I never got a chance to work the bugs out due to a crash.

Now it is back together with new paint and the old faithful 454 which is good for low nines @150.  It only makes 630Hp, but at 2250lbs, it works very well.

If he can take that crash and turn it back into that car, he can build a buggy. :)

Glad to see another member come aboard.

Actually the crash photo is of Masterfabr's car.  I think it was totaled.  Mine wasn't quite so bad.
