Title: Steering stabalizers
Post by: Punkur67 on May 03, 2009, 06:03:16 PM
What are you all running for steering stabalizers. I was just going to run a fox one to help hold the wheel. Any input?

Arms, one left, the other right.

any input would be erratic

;D

Seriously, doesn't "propper" steering geometry "negate" this?

On a smaller machine I would have thought so... but... are we talking about steering dampers here?

Arms can only do so much when your hitting big stuff. Dont want to mess with power steering. arms work fine but after a long fast ride in the ruff stuff it gets old fighting the wheel. And proper geometry doesnt fix when one tire hits different than another and wants to pull the wheel in another direction. Bump steer is not the issue here. I have no problems when crusing through moderate whoops but when I hit 2-1/2 to 3 foot ones at 70+ it can be hard to hold on.

Looks like the ticket! I thinkI'll add one to the PS unit. What is the open and closed eye to eye dimension?
