i dont know the comp ratio of that motor but if you read the notes on the video and that from the company the turbo kit comes from......17 psi on 91 octane! an efr 6258 should work quite well on a busa or i should say it will work quite well!  :D enemy

Maybe I'm missing something and I haven't looked at the specs on that turbo but if it works well on an always in boost 949cc engine why would it work well on a 1300cc engine that will not always be in boost. ???

Controllable by the throttle pedal is why  ;)
Just kidding (kinda) but if I were looking to have a turbo spool yesterday, this is the series to do it, supports between 250 to 450hp (need to log the shaft speed if you take it that far though) and it is 30 years newer than my current turbo design. This is with a .64 AR turbine housing. Many busa guys like to go much larger series and a bigger AR for the big end but we don't use the busa like that, at least I don't. And not looking for over 400hp, not needed.. Been talking to a Busa powered road race car guy with this turbo, he loves it, says it can get a bit twitchy coming into boost but he learned to drive through it and use better waste gate control. I found a new/used 6258 for a damn fine price, gunna give it a shot! Currently running a 6758 on a 2.3 in the Ranger, wow is it a great turbo compared to the others I have played with on the truck.

When would you expect the busa to spool that turbo and with what compression/boost?

the rzr specs....didn't realize they were 2 cyl's and rev limiter factory is set at 8800 but speed governed ( not a surprise and good thing) so i guess at 72 mph stock or 8800 which ever comes first. so i am wondering what would drive a turbo better, the drive from a 925 cc 2 cyl or 1299 cc 4 cyl? based on same rpms and no i don't know what the flow rate of the the 2 cyl heads are. just a thought is all.

busa

Bore / stroke   81.0 mm × 63.0 mm (3.19 in × 2.48 in)
Compression ratio   11:1

FWIW,I have not given even a seconds thought to what I will do with the busa when it gets power upped.  Have anyone given thought to twin turboing a busa with small turbos for super quick spool?
