Title: Busa Fuel Guage
Post by: fabr on May 10, 2010, 08:28:45 PM
Can anyone tell me what the ohm range is for the stock busa fuel gauge? If not can anyone tell me how to determine what it is ? lastly,if I cannot get a sending unit to match can i use resistors to adjust an aftermarket sending unit to output needed ohm range? I KNOW there's some smart electrical people lurking here-HELP! Please! ;D ;D

Never mind, finally found it. 11 full-130ohms empty.  Sooooo,is there a way to modify the output of a sending unit?Closest thing I have found is a 340-33 range. I'm not too worried about the full reading being spot on but can i change the max ohm to 130 from the 340 and still have a linear readout?
