They sell so many there's no reason to cater to a small segment of the market. Especially when that small segment is made up of guys like us that would be ,shall we say,a bit more discriminating of build quality. Of course a high quality off road toyhauler would be a seller ,IMO. There's opportunity knocking!!!!Speaking of opportunity knocking I had the deal of the year fall in my lap a couple weeks ago. A customer wanted basically 8 40 foot 6X6 I beams fabbed into 2 piece, bolt together columns. No problem, we sell it pretty regularly, occasionally have some fab done. This fab quote came in fricking ridiculous but we knew the customer had little choice with the time restraints . Then I got to thinking, add on our markup and I was going to make about $3k profit on the sale. Then I really got my lazy ass to thinking and if I was to do the fabbing I was going to net about $10K. For 30 hours approx work. About $330 an hour. I'll take that deal.I'm waiting on headers from Jet-Hot and stand height gauge from T&D s I'm dead in water in shop anyway. Sometimes things just work out.
IF I ever decide to just roam all over the USA for months at a time I will consider something other than what I have now. Until then..............................eff it.
