Starter problems ?

I'm putting a 6 rib bus trans axle in my buggy but i have a car starter what kind of starter do i need is there a quick fix besides buying a new starter.

I've heard you need a bus starter but I don't kmow for sure. I think fastcorvairs was checking that out. You might wait see if you get a reply or PM fastc.

I am at least i can afford nickel and dimes. Today it cost me a little more I just went ahead and bought me a new starter. I will have it running soon looking forward to running the LS dunes with you all soon.
