Well....my uncle shows up outta nowhere last night and brings me this for my birthday....

Now..this thing is like 1950's model. Its common name is a .."one lunger" cuase it only builds air on one stroke. And it takes it a while to do it. But man when it gets there it holds it nicely. So after chatting with him for a while and several thank you's i decide im gonna take care of the rust. So i plug it in and fire it up. Hook up some hose and put the wire wheel in my cut off tool. And go to work. Took for ever but was pretty easy cause it holds the pressure good. So after a few hours of sanding and cleaning it up, then a dap of paint and this is what i have.....Oh and by the way...this fooker weigh's a freekin ton. Literally.

Im not sure hold on and ill go look....ilooked and didnt find anything...if i had to guess i would say that it is a 120 gallon. I did find a date on it and it was built in 1951. But it runs like a champ..and i got it last night and worked on it last night then painted it this morning.

We put on on my buddy's old 80 gallon comp over a year ago and has been working good since.  It only had a 3hp motor, but it seems to do just fine.  His was older than yours I think.  We got the pump on sale for $99, so price was right.  We set the switch at 125psi and the line pressure at 100psi.  If I remember right, it would recover in like 4min with an 80gal tank.

mine doesnt need to recover. With a 1/2 inch impact running wide open i cant pull it down fast enough. As soon as it kicks on its built back up. It just takes for ever to fill it up. But it stays plugged in so it will never be empty. And i think mine has a 12 horse motor on it. Im telling you bro this thing is massive.

Id say its more like 50.. A 60 is about 24 x 60 a 80 is about 36 a 60 i think... Did not do calculations...

its a 60...and i got the horse wrong...dont know what i was looking at on the tag but went and rechecked and it is a 1.5 horse. But it works damn fine...im happy with it. Im gonna change it to 110v instead of 220v. That will free up my 220v plug for my welder.

Better check the amps before going 120.  I just bought a 1.5hp motor for my press and it draws 17 or 18 amps when wired 120.

hmmm....it dosnt say what it will pull...just that it can be wired for either...i know it would be on a 30 amp breaker and my welder was plugged into it for a long time and i had no issues...
